Website Usability

It's a fact. Most website owners and website builders are too close to their work. They are so familiar with their website that they don't realize that most visitors aren't finding what they are looking for.

It is always a good idea to place Google analytics on your website to see WHERE people are going. But here's a tip to find out WHY people are going where they go.

Website usability testing can be very expensive. Here's a good way to do a website usability test on the cheap. Invite 3 or 4 of your buddies over. Order a few pizzas and open up a few frosty beverages. Turn on your computer and go to your website. Ask each friend separately to perform a series of tasks. This will only take 3 minutes each.
