We all like a good looking website. But sometimes websites that have the best ROI aren’t that pretty to look at.
The Mona Lisa didn’t have a “call to action.”
Every page of your website had better have a call to action. Your home page should offer one-click access to all information your customer needs to make a transaction.
Reggie will scream … ” That coupon ruins my design!” Shandra will say … That offer is too obvious!
When I look at prospective customer’s website analytics, more often than not, I find the top entry page is also the top exit page. People are searching for answers right here, right now! Tell them what they want to know and let them ask you questions on your site without them having to tell you their life story.
